Since all that's left of TO is good memories and we as a community
enjoy to discuss old TO histories and legends - lets post about our
most memorable wars.

Remember those wars that were REALLY close or Contraversially disputed?
Or that very important war where your clan proved to run with the big dogs?
Post screenies :D

I think this is when RKS reassembled the time before the last, and they
came really strong, the war was back and forth and they won by one
round on tiebraker. GG RKS :D

The NGL vs sMs - good war all. Many people were saying we were a flop,
but BrSh knows we won because we sexy :D Ref does too :P

And two wars i remember but have no screenshots for
(if somebody does- contribute plz :) ) :

1) sMs vs [U] - damn these guys didnt expect us to do good, and we almost
won by surprise on scope, and then they pulled it out and we went to
tiebraker from there it was downhill for us as our guys started to leave and
[U] dominated us in the end.

2) =sMs= vs {CtF} - we won but Ctf was pissed at server misunderstanding
and so they disputed ( Bimmer can't lose :D ). Unfortunately, WMoMoW
disappeared from then everafter, and so we didnt get his warpix in and we
lost. Though i was pissed at CtF then, now i remember this with laugh - good
war guys.

A goodbye? And a hello to what? FragOps? I don't think so, m8. No other game runs quite as well on my machine (albeit a pretty good one) as Tactical Ops and I will run with it until I find something better. Gameplay isn't all in the guns, it's also in the FPS and maps, which FragOps TOTALLY lacks in my opinion (poor maps outside the remakes which cannot really be called FO maps, in gameplay and in user optimization). I also play RavenShield but get about a 25-35 FPS which really can get quite bad with teargas and smoke all over the place. I get an 85 FPS on TO and that will work just fine for me, especially with the plentiful amount of servers and fun clans.

i have quite a few wars id call "memories" or "Close"

1).{RD} vs |FJ| .. This was right after i quit |FJ| and joined {RD}. To tell you the truth, i cant remember if we lost or won ( i actually think we won cause of blister ). Every map side was won by like 1-2 rounds only.. It was a very long and exciting war.

2).|zT| vs {M2} .. After FJ died i picked up all the non-botters / banned cheaters and put them on our roster. We warred {M2} the next day and the war was very intense.. It was 2-2 map sides when we started to argue about tie breakers and server switching. The war lasted 4 hours, and another 2 hours of argueing..but it was one hella fun war.

3).
uh...i forgot -_-

The CDNOps vs @ Final Cup war was the most insane war ive ever played in. We started out like a house on fire and thought it was gonna be a cake walk. But then they did some wierd ass camps that we just couldnt break. Came down to the last map Dragon to decide the winner. Was a LONG ASS WAR, somthing i wish all of you could experience. Despite playing witha 120 ping the whole time. It was still one of the best gaming experiences ive ever had.

I've been part of NG2 and Flash who beat MiND and LV (in 1.6 and 2.0), which were very memorable wins, but Im going with 4 matches as Alliance:

1. CDNOps versus @ for 2004 Cup finals: the tension was palpable. I remember telling Menace privately to sack up and win the fucking war for us-- fucker blew the drivers off CDNOps' video cards... Simply an amazing war to end TO for us and Im glad it was versus the oldest and most respected clan in TO. Im enjoying my keyboard even now Max =P

2. Alliance versus Aftermath: OMFG!! Match went into a tie breaker and they chose Thanatos (a map we didnt know at all) so we camped Terr. I still remember it being Superman and Slick versus AirOgre for the win...Perry killed Super then Slick nailed AO with a nice move. We cheered like the first time we had been laid and the match featured the best collection of talent to ever have played TO, IMO.

3. Alliance versus Old Skool for 2003 Cup semis: NO ONE thought we even stood a chance versus oS. They rostered Champs, Arma, Tank, PG, DK, Apsco, Tek, BB, and a host of other badasses. We rostered FakeID, myself, Slick, Bydkirc, Jackson, and Fullbean (yeah, not much of a comparable lineup). We fought them down into a tie breaker then onto a 6 point lead on Drought before Arma and DK broke out the MSGs and they fought back to win by a round. We didnt win, but all things considering, we did pretty damn well.

4. Everytime I have ever beaten PT...which is everytime I have ever played him. GG, 3-0, pwnt, kthxbye, whoa!

I remember an RKS vs TSU war that was extremely close. Pretty funny situation too. The war was tied up 2-2 and one RKS guy had to leave. We played the tiebreaker map, scope, a man down and it came down to the last round. On the last round Aftershock, who had been playing after a weekend of some ridiculous amount of army training, passed out on his keyboard and told his brother fissure (who wasnt in rks at the time) to play for him. fissure, who we all thought was aftershock, went on to win a pretty hairy 2v1 to give us the win. We didnt even know fissure was playing until a couple days later.
