So YES NatoWarpix is again mandatory and you will need to download the latest and run it for wars starting tommorrow since I doubt everyone who is warring will see it tonight.
Anyhow again if there are issues just post them or put in a trouble ticket so I can look at them.

Hey all, hope your having a fantastic Halloween, and if you don't celebrate it, we hope your having a wicked month!
The TA Team have been hard at work again, and we are so excited to show you some AMAZING screenshots!
First off though I would like to introduce you to some new members who joined our ranks recently.
Welcome to Sampson who is another weapons modeller and texture artist who works so fast we can show you some of his work already!
Welcome to SteathSilver who is a character texture artist, he has started texturing our characters arms recently, and I tell you... it's AWESOME!! - we have an extra special media update planned with our new player models in the future so for now, its our worst kept secret!
We also welcome Destruct to our ranks. Another weapons modeller who also has some sneak peek shots to show off already.
Say welcome to Unrated, a new texture artist, who I can't seem to get any texture work for since my TA team are working their socks off, modelling and texturing things (bad bad team! )
We welcome Defeatist to our team, he is a Concept artist who is producing some awesome concept work for us for a Jungle map... did I just give away the theme of one of our secret maps?
We love to see new guys joining the ranks, but enough about them, it's about you and our media update!!

Introducing JUNGLE
Well, it started as an idea, and a lot of the team wondering if it was even possible in the unreal engine (some of us even doubted his sanity) but lets take a look at the results...
Teifi has provided us with the mother of all teaser screenshots (actual in-game shot) have a drool and show your mates. |

Of course no jungle is complete without an AK
So we had to texture it of course, this was a real team effort and we think that it shows the best of everyone's skills. |

We were looking at melee weapons and we thought "What would be really cool?"
So we thought, I know lets make an axe, well actually its a hatchet to be more precise |

Just show us more guns already...
Ohhh alright but a mac-10 will have to do. Loebedoe skillfully modeled the MAC-10 and Disaster finished off the texturing. It might look a bit puny but this thing has some nice firepower. |

Hey they do arms as well...
StealthSilver took on the big task of texturing our first character model. This is a really important job as if its done badly then it will really show. This is just the start and we are now confident of some awesome looking characters.

When you have got nearly 40 members and you want more, you must be mad. Although we sound mad we want more of you... come JOIN in the fun and contribute to what is going to be a very good game, who knows where it could lead when TA hits the big time....

If TA made level props.. they would probably be the best level props in the world

Since he joined us Hupie has proven to be a very adaptable artist, working in all sorts of different areas. This model demonstrates the importance of good texturing, it really takes environment props to the next level. |

Well we are told that he does sleep sometimes but he does work hard, this one looks perfect for an industrial setting... in fact we might just have an industrial looking map up our sleeves (stay tuned for updates on that one) |

From now on if you are using a name that everyone is familiar with, and you are a "NEW" player then you don't have to ask to be allowed to war. (For all you players labeled "banned" you still have to ask....  )
Anyhow the only stipulation is that you have to use an alias that everyone pretty much knows you by..... using an alias and being "new" still requires that you state exactly who the heck you are before you are considered alright to war.
New players DO NOT have to put player name and ID in the war rules........... You can put all new players can play all you want and IS acceptable now.... Ladies and Gentlemen, you have the pleasure to read a news post ACTUALLY written entirely by me, StuD, Project Lead for Tactical Assault.
I would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone interested in helping the Tactical Assault project or maybe just interested in improving your own skills in whatever field you specialize in to JOIN the Tactical Assault Team! We definitely have a high demand for skilled Texture Artist and Modelers. We also have currently developed a high priority need for an Effects Engineer! If you believe you could help in the development or publicity of Tactical Assault APPLY!
One last thing I would like to say before I type all this and show you all the pretty pictures. I am really not even sure why I am typing an article at all... I know our Media Releases are pretty much the same as Play Boy, no one looks at them for the text...
So without further delay, I present you with a bunch of work I did not make!
Our Weapon Artists ElShotte, Kaskad and Loebedoe (I purposely put ElShotte's name first to stroke his vanity) have been doing amazing work as you can observe below. All of these guys are absolute professionals at what they do and I am honored to work with such talented guys.
Kaskad modeled the Sig 556 shown below. This was actually his assigned project for his trial period to join the team. Needless to say he knocked his trial period out of the water! As you can see however, this model is still untextured, so if you think you're skilled enough to texture this incredible model then APPLY!

Now for Mr. Vanity himself, ElShotte. ElShotte is Tactical Assault's Lead Weapon Artist for those who do not know. Elshotte is an absolute work horse. He consistently puts a ton of hours into working on Tactical Assault every week. This is evident in the amount of weapon models he has produced recently!
ElShotte's first weapon presented here is the Springfield XD 45. I really like this weapon! You'll get this weapon as the default pistol if your on the Strike Force Team!


ElShotte's next weapon model presented here is the Remington 870 which will be a Shotgun used by the Strike Force Team.

Now I didn't even know ElShotte was working on nades and then one day he messages me wanting me to look at a render of all the nades completed... As you can see this guy needs his own personal Texture Artist as he simply works too fast! You MUST know what you're talking about and be amazing to work with ElShotte though, so if you're up for the challenge, APPLY!

As well as his weapons Loebedoe has been working on playermodels and animation recently. This is a shot of the 1st person model for the AK47. This is the model you will see when you have the AK equipped. Loebedoe has also started texturing the model and it is already looking hot! We will keep you updated.

Here are a couple of container meshes created by another one of our great and hard working Environmental Artists igi!

This is a collection of works from one of our newer Environmental Artist llitt. Most of these meshes will be included in Calichusetts' map "Complex"!

This next image is of a Kursk Sub. It was produced by one of our new Environmental Artists, CounterSeal. Now I'm not going to jump to any conclusions myself.... but I think someone is making a map with a sub in it?? Maybe VENOM??

Now for the GRAND FINALE!!
This image is Legen... wait for it... wait for it... Dairy! Our Environmental Artist Andy2Dandy actually modeled and textured this amazing work completely by himself and submitted it as his Senior Project. This pretty helicopter is a MI-24 Hind. Now if I had to guess, I think a Russian sub and a Russian helicopter might go nicely together in a map 

Wow, I'm even excited now! Many thanks need to go to kYo for his hard work helping me get this media release ready as well as AngryPenguin and ElShotte!
Final Note: Over the past couple months a massive amount of work has been done. We as a team are more productive than ever before! Much of our work is coming together and nearing completion, but simply can't be released publicly yet, especially since a good bit of it can't be shown in pictures
